A half pixel may be your way of throwing your finger up at the man, but let me help you… HTML and CSS don’t like your half pixel. The front-end web guy who’s slicing your site, farts in the general direction of your half pixel. Your laziness (oops!) I mean expression will cause alignment, margin, width, and design issues. So the anti aliasing, although great with a bottle of wine and a good Gaussian blur, will reek havoc on your site and front-end developer. Who knows, India may not care. Then again, you get what you pay for (not sure if a half pixel was included in this budget)…
